It is our mission to completely DELIGHT each of our Guests servicing them above and beyond their expectations!

If your experience has been disappointing in any way, please inform us within 48 hours. We promise to work with you, until you are completely satisfied when you contact us within 14 days of your service. Please do not hesitate to directly contact our General Manager, Jozie Hogarth, at 734-414-9980 and she will assist you.
(Note: We cannot guarantee our services if they have been altered by another salon, at home or if non-recommended products have been used.)

 

Experience
All first time Guests will be asked to complete a Guest Profile so that we can better meet your expectations.  For your service appointment, you may be asked to fill out additional questionnaires or paperwork in the effort to customize your service to your individual needs.  All information is confidential and will only be used to provide you with the finest experience.  We offer coffee,  Tea or water at the beginning of each service experience.

Payment is due at the end of your appointment.  We accept cash, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express and Ashka Salon & Spa Gift Card as forms of payment.   As of February 1, 2009 we will no longer be accepting checks.

As of April 15, 2011 we will no longer participate in Aveda’s Pure Privilege Program. Subsequently we cannot honor Aveda Gift Cards, Pure Privilege Gift Certificates or give Pure Privilege Points.

Gift Cards may be purchased for any dollar amount. If you are the recipient of a gift card, please bring it with you on the day of your scheduled appointment.  Gift Cards are non-refundable and not redeemable for cash. We regret that Ashka Salon & Spa cannot be responsible for lost or stolen gift cards.

 

We offer several Gift Packages of services that will please and delight you or someone special to you.  A 48 hour cancellation policy does apply for spa packages and a credit card number or your valid gift card number may be required to reserve Gift Package appointments. For massages and facials, we offer discounts if services are purchased in advance in quantities of three, six or twelve.  Payment for Series are due before any of the services can be rendered. We are pleased to offer a wide range of items that will help to enhance your at home self-care experience.  Your satisfaction is guaranteed on all product purchases made at our location only.  We accept product returns within 30 days from original purchase date.  Our computer database serves as a record for your purchase, as long as the product was purchased under your name.  The product should not be excessively used.

 

When to Arrive
If you are new to Ashka, please arrive 15 minutes early for your appointment. Please call our front desk if you are running late for your appointment.  Arriving late to an appointment may result in an incomplete service experience or we may require you to reschedule your appointment unless it can be accommodated into the Service Provider’s schedule.  We cannot guarantee an extension of the scheduled appointment(s), however we will in every way try to complete your service.

 

What to Wear to the Salon
No special attire is required for salon services.  We require all guests to be draped with a provided cape over their regular clothing during all haircutting and coloring services.  If you are concerned about hair or color damaging your clothing, we provide full-coverage salon smocks that you can change into in a private area.

 

What to Wear to the Spa
No special attire is required and your personal belongings will remain in the treatment room with you at all times.  Maintaining your sense of dignity and well-being is of the utmost importance to us. Most massage and facial treatments are completed without clothing, however, feel free to wear undergarments for any of our spa services. Our qualified Spa Therapists are trained to drape correctly, exposing only the area being worked on.  If you have any concerns regarding your spa treatment, please feel free to contact our front desk for assistance before your service appointment.

 

Tranquility is Our Goal
As a courtesy to other Guests, we ask that all cellular phones and pagers be silenced and not used while in the salon and spa. We ask that you please be mindful of others enjoying their treatments by keeping conversations at a low volume.

 

Reservation Cancellations
We request a 24 hour notice of cancellation for all services. Please remember that our Team of Service Providers has reserved this time to care for you and please be considerate of their livelihoods. We ask that you be courteous to our Team by canceling your appointment if you are ill or have a contagious cough or cold – this is for the protection of the Service Provider performing the service, as well as our other guests.

 

Gratuities
Gratuity is not included in the price of regular services. If you wish to show your appreciation to your Service Provider for going above and beyond, you may include a gratuity when checking out by letting the front desk team know the amount you would like to leave before they run your gift or credit card, or you may give cash directly to your Service Provider.

 

Regarding Children
An adult must accompany children under the age of 16 at all times. Please use discretion when bringing children to your appointment.  They should be old enough to entertain themselves quietly as not to disrupt other Guests in the waiting area.  A parent must accompany children to their hair services.

 

Minors may receive spa treatments, but must be accompanied by a parent or guardian inside the room and have a signed waiver.

 

Health Condition Concerns
If you are taking certain medications such as Accutane, Retin-A or Tazorac, please inform your service provider as these medications can cause severe reactions during waxing services. Please check with your doctor for any further questions regarding your medication. Inform your service provider if you have ever had an allergic reaction to waxing or any color service.

If you are pregnant and receiving a massage service, a doctor’s note indicating release to receive massage therapy is required by Ashka to perform the massage service.  Please bring the note with you at the time of your service appointment.  Some body treatments are not recommended for pregnancy.

Certain spa services are not recommended when certain health conditions are present.  One of our Spa Professionals can answer any questions you may have prior to your service appointment.  You will be required to sign a disclaimer form prior to any waxing services or body treatments.

Many of our products contain beneficial ingredients derived from plant, fruit and nut sources.  If you have ANY food, plant, or any other allergy, please communicate this to your service provider, even if you previously wrote down this allergy on a service release form.  Your wellbeing and comfort is our goal.

Please let our front desk know before your appointment if you need any special consideration and they will be happy to assist you.

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason that may jeopardize his/her wellbeing or the wellbeing and comfort of our Service Providers or other Guests.  All service and retail pricing is non-negotiable and subject to change without notice.
