Our Annual Give Back Month is only possible in partnership with thousands of people in our community. This includes are sponsors, doners and of course our guests. The following are three ways YOU can be involved:
Become a sponsor: In advance of our event we offer an advertisement opportunity for area businesses. In past years sponsorship partners have included the Detroit Lions, Central City Dance, Stella & Dot, Super Fine Wine & Liquor, The Goddard School and many others. A tax-deductible DONATION directly to Goodwill Industries of Greater Detroit secures an advertising package from Ashka Salon & Spa, which includes: representation on our collateral for the event, banners in all Goodwill locations, presence in press releases and social media, email blasts and newspaper advertisements.
Donate to our silent auction: Many areas businesses and independent consultants offer items, gift cards and services to be displayed in our silent auction throughout Give Back Month. Each item has a minimum value of $100 and is featured on our website, Facebook page and of course in prime view of our waiting area. Items include tickets, gift cards, jewelry, autographed memorabilia and handbags.
Show up: Take part in ANY aspect of our Annual Give Back Month as a guest…bid on a silent auction item, purchase a t-shirt, tell your friends and spread the word in any way possible!
Our Annual Give Back Month is our single largest community investment each year. We are grateful for each person that makes this event possible. Every cent we raise is given directly to Goodwill, and Ashka covers the FULL cost of the event. We are honored to give back in this way and we look forward to more success each year!
